Yea. So this is yet another post of me photographing trash (packaging of used up products) and talking nonsense about them. People who don't read/write empties post really won't understand how much we enjoy them, do they? XD
The Taiwan Magnolia line is originally the highest line in Naruko offerings, before they bring out the Lupin Anti-Aging. It aims to reduce dullness/yellow-ness and discolouration while firming more mature skin. I got a set of this line in Hong Kong Colourmix store. It is a tad more expensive than the other lines, which I can understand after using this serum and loving the other (the night cream).
Please jump to the end to read some little sharing about Naruko!
Basically I'm including everything that's not loose. Whether it is 2-way cake (used wet/dry), or pressed powder, or powder foundation, I'm putting it under this category. It can be a little confusing, but I opted this way to count it anyway. :P
The way I use these are mainly to set my concealer. Other times I use them, either with a sponge or brush, all over my face on top of sunscreen for extra coverage. Rarely do I use the in conjunction with liquid foundation or BB cream, as that will be too made up for my taste.
I have also forgotten to filter out the few which are too dark - I used them as contour, not face powder... They are the MAC MSF and Canmake... anyway...
Back in October'11, my friend helped me to order a bunch of products on the Yves Rocher Canadian site (CDN). Yves Rocher is a French brand and we do have their retail stores in Hong Kong. However, on the Canadian site, there are some lovely promos and deals and I got myself quite an asorted selection of stuff.
The "empties" post will be too long if I wait till the end of the month to do one, hence I'll do one once I find the time to! Read on if you're interested in pictures of (trash) used up packaging and a lot of ramblings~~

One of my favourite things to collect make-up wise is BB Cream. Because my geographical location opens me to a diverse selection of Korean, Japanese, Taiwanese offerings, that are the best and suit my fair to light Asian skin tone very well. Plus they are mostly very reasonably priced when we're talking about quality face make up!
I have many, maybe too many concealers because that's the only thing that is needed to add back life to my face, esp. when I'm sleep deprived like now. I'm adding liquid highlighter/brightener in this post because some come in dual-end packaging, and others are just double-purpose (e.g. YSL touche eclat).
Continuing with my (huge) Inventory Check, here comes the liquid foundation and tinted moisturiser. I am putting cream/compact foundation and BB cream in other posts because I simply have too many of them. If interested, please read on!
First of all, if you're interested to read about my 1st attempt at trying to do a food post, go to this link. For those who don't already know, www.jacquisition.com is a blog my friend A and I co-host. :)
Please continue on to read some random updates of mine...
Hi there! :D I have decided to make a little twist to the 'monthly favourites' that everyone including me are (were) doing...
So in 2012, I'll jot down things I love and then blog about them when the number hits 12. The idea is to do 12 episodes in this series, and at the end of the year, I'll see what among these make it to my top favourites! **Don't you think the name 12x12 is cool? (lame me?)**
Continuing with my Feb Empties, here are my make up and other things, including a bunch of sheet masks! As always, I'll do short reviews on them here, because my schedule and lifestyle just don't afford the luxury to review them individually. ;)
