Review - a Discontinued Mask by Laniege

Fellow beauty blogger mimika (her blog) asked if I can share my views on some Laneige skin care products.  Of course I said yes, and then I went digging for the Laneige stuff in my stash.  Turned out, I don't have too many, so this is gonna be a short and sweet little series.  :D

Here I'm doing a short review on a face mask - Laneige Pore Clear Wash Off Pack.  This has been renamed + reformulated + repackaged into something different - Laneige Pore Minimizing Pack.  Although the sample I'm reviewing is of something that no longer exists, I hope my 2 cents can be of some reference value. :P

In short, this is of a cream/clay consistency.  Spread it on for 3 to 5 minutes, wash it off and your pore issues will be treated.

FYI, I don't have oily skin, just slightly enlarged pores on my cheeks, and some blackheads/congestion on and around my nose.  My experience with this is okay.  I don't find my pores shrinken, nor skin particularly cleared.  I love the fact that it doesn't leave skin dry like desert like many other 'skin clearing' masks do.  (those probably have too much kaolin or clay ingredients)

This product doesn't smell of anything - which is good for those who are sensitive to fragrances.  Personally I won't mind some extra tea tree or mint or that kind of clean scent incorporated...

It doesn't dry to cracked-clay-mess, even if I leave it on over-time.  Definitely a plus+ as I always find washing off cracked-dry-clay a little too much work to handle.

Conclusion?
If I have more pore issues or oilier skin, I'll consider trying out the new Pore Minimizing Mask.  It is more pore-pampering than deep cleansing in my opinion.

(one - after shower, skin washed and toned.  two - the mask pack.  three - applied.  four - freshly washed off)
