Review | Haus of Gloi Vice Bubbling Scrub

Haus of Gloi is an online fragrance store, selling bath and body products, perfume oil, etc.  Vice Soft Bubbling Scrub was one of the many things I have accumulated over time.  You can read my haul and initial review if you fancy.  I have also made anothing big order which include more yummy stuff, if you are interested in any particular item or scent, tell me so I can review it for you.  One thing I absolutely love and have already reviewed is their Sweet Rosa lip balm.

On to the Vice scent.  To me this is simply yummy Hazelnut Latte ice cream!  If you are sweet-creamy-coffee lover like me, I can assure you this scent will not disappoint.  I adore this scent so much I can live smelling this alone.  No Joke!

Texture.  It is a very special formula that I have never seen elsewhere, nor used before.  It is almost dry to the touch at first, like marshmallow blended with polystyrene foam.  The product carries and delivers the scent amazingly.  Foaming, or bubbling-wise, it is okay, cleans skin gently and foams up decently.  The good thing of this scrub is it does not dry up the skin.  However, the exfoliation - which you may want from a good scrub - is just alright.

Packaging.  The design of the sticker is gorgeous, like every other Haus of Gloi design.  The pot, though, is not the best thing to house this scrub.  As mentioned before, the texture itself is slightly dry, interesting texture, so I need to dig my fingers in to get the product.  Water will get in.  Not too bad when I'm using the small size as I use it up pretty soon anyway.  But when it comes to the big tub it's a little messy.

Overall: Hurray!  The formula of this scrub is not the best I have tried, but still unique and lovely.  I am giving very high score for the scent because it is one of my all time favourite coffee body fragrance!

From website (link - here):
Steam billows rolling off a vessel of fresh made Turkish coffee, marshmallow goo tainted by graham cracker crumbs, toasted hazelnuts and blanketed in black chocolate.

Apply to wet skin and massage into skin using circular motions. This is a water activated product and works best when vigorously lathered. I do not recommend this product for the face.

Organic cane sugar, sucrose (sugar), vegetable glycerin, sodium coco sulfate, cocamidopropyl betaine, propylene glycol, sorbitol, stearic acid, proprietary fragrance blend, shea butter, phenoxyethanol (and) caprylyl glycol, citric acid

  1. The scent sounds gorgeous! I keep meaning to try some Haus of Gloi products but for some reason I never quite get round to placing an order. I'm always intrigued by their Halloween scents.

    1. they aren't cheap... but they are decent stuff. i suppose their ingredients are really good too... last but not least, they really do smell good (i have some of their halloween stuff as well) if you can get over the int'l shipping cost then give it a try!!

  2. i heard great things about Haus of Gloi body care stuff!

the shower gels stash in my bathroom had stopped me from accruing more bath and body products tho! LOL

    1. start with their body butter and scrubs maybe! haus of gloi only makes bar soaps and whipped shower cream, no gels... but i think i'm more like you, i use gels, and bathroom is already overloaded...
