FOTD | Aqua Rich Golden Mosaic

(fake smile :P)
It's been a while since I do a full face make up - since its been really hot and everything literally melts off in an hour or two under room temperature without air-conditioning.  Also, while I was having my lash extension, I didn't even bother to do my eye make up; some concealer, powder foundation and brows served me enough.  Anyway, extensions finally fell all off, and time to get back to doing my eyes.  If you want to know what base product combo I'm liking that feels comfortable and stays put on my face in this 30 degree Celsius weather, then keep reading!

Product used:

For eyes, upper waterline middle section was lined with Lakme Nine to Five Kohl Ultimate "Black".  I find that lining the whole upper waterline, including inner and outer sections, can be prone to smudging.  All four shades in the Laura Mercier Shimmer Bloc "Golden Mosaic" were used.  Left rose-gold shade on the lid, upper brown and right bronze shade mixed to line the eyes - both upper and lower outer half, right bronze blended in the crease as transition colour, and bottom gold as lower tear-duct highlight.  I tight-lined with Koji Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner "Deep Black" and applied Majolica Majorca Lash Enamel Glamour Volume On to top and bottom lashes.

Lashes are from Miss Bow Bow 撥撥小姐 assorted set, c/o girlfriend Angie.  I picked the fourth pair - which should be Style "302" after looking up at Miss Bow Bow's store (shop link).  The width of this pair is quite long, from inner to outer corner, and I had to chop off nearly 4 big knots at the outer corner to fit them to my eye length.  I used the Luminous Change Eyelash Glue Clear to adhere.

Eyebrows was filled in with Naris Up Brows Up Pencil Eyebrow "Light Brown" (not pictured as I have finished the pencil after half-way during look!), touched up with Clinique Instant Lift for Brows "01 Soft Blonde" (this is tiny and I'll be using this up in no time).

Current favourite base combination is a mixture of Biore UV Aqua Rich SPF50+ PA+++, c/o cousin Honor, and BRTC Aqua Rush Water Drop BB Cream (full review link).  I mix 2 parts of Biore with 1 part of BRTC to create a very watery, light, cooling liquid that I slather on my face and blend in with a Real Techniques Buffing Brush, pretty arbitrarily.  I also roll the Garnier BB Eye Roll-on (full review link) under my eyes and blend lightly with the same brush.

Forehead, chin, nose and around my nose is powdered with Hera HD Powder Pact (Moist) SPF 25/PA++ "Shade 21".  Blush and gentle sculpting was achieved by Sleek "Suede".  The right bronze shade and bottom gold shade of Laura Mercier "Golden Mosaic" were mixed to highlight the tops of my cheeks.

Lip colour is a thin layer of Buxom Big and Healthy Lip Stick "Sydney" (matte beautiful nude) topped with a generous layer of MAC Lustre Lipstick "High Tea" (an under-rated flattering glossy nude - Beiged Pink with Pearl - description on MAC site).  Simples!
