|The widest rainbow I've seen in real life.|
We brought Roma on his first flight when he's (exactly) 13 month old. Our destination was Taichung, and for many days we spent our time climbing mountains (in a van), hiking (Mr. A carrying his dear son), breathing in fresh clean air, and eating.
The trip was a pleasant and successful one - no one got hurt and most of the time we're well rested and fed. On the return flight we had a 2+ hours delay (the flight time was only 1 hour, mind you), due to a loosen screw (or something similar?) hence that was a bit let down, but only every so slightly.

|Sightings at Watson's (see Mr. A?)|
I haven't been to Taiwan for years - last time was June 2013? - so I'm excited to check out what's new at the stores. Our itinerary didn't include much shopping time but luckily (on purposely?) we lodged near many decent sized Watson's (and 7-11 and Cosmed, etc). Many of the skin care sets present caught my eye but the sanity inside me restrained my purchase to only one Dr. Wu set. I really have so much back ups and stock to go through I'm thinking 2016 will be the year to pause getting new stuff... Another exciting sighting is UNT where they have small or medium shelves displaying a good selection of nail products, make up and skin care.
I am really looking forward to check out more next time I visit Taiwan~ That being said, we didn't come back empty-handed this trip, picking up knick knacks from various shops and outlets. Let's take a glance through our 'haul'!
Sheep Milk Treat - souvenir
Lanolin Shea Butter Lip Balm - souvenir
Bubble Gum - this type can make seriously large bubbles, souvenir
Sheep Farm Tee - for Roma
My Beauty Diary Squalene Restorative Mask & Liposome Hyaluronic Acid Mask - Wanted to try out the (new) Squalene so picked up a few of the trial packets. NT$39 per packet, 2 pcs.
Oguma Youngspray - Tried the mask before, impressed me with the hydrating properties so I picked up a small spray to try. It's been living with my handbag ever since I got it and so far so good (as a mist of moisture/water). Saw sets of multiple big bottles but didn't get - good girl. NT$99
OMI Lip Dress Rich #Crystal Pink #Crystal Red - Saw these new tinted lip balm at 7-11 and had to get both. I'm (and was) seriously high on lips so I grabbed a lot of lip products recently. NT$169
OMI Moiscube Lip #Soymilk - Omi makes great lip balm so why not? This is supposed to have a sweet milk flavour - translated by my little brother, excuse him. NT$99
Vaseline Rosy Lips - souvenir. NT$99
Mentholatum Q10 Lip Gel - We've only got the boring green original lip gel here in HK, so when I see these (pink, yellow, blue) tubes in special edition Minnie Mouse (not a fan) packaging, I grabbed some. NT$120
OMI Lip Dress CC #Pearl Beige - There may be another colour but this appealed to me more. NT$99
Various Frog souvenirs - From Paper Dome, Nantou, where frog is regarded as a symbol of natural reserve. It so happened that Mr. Roma has a nickname of Frog (because of his Chinese name) therefore I picked up a few.
Hada Labo Koi Gokujyun Sheet Mask (Pack of 7) - This was promoted and attracted me. NT$179
Mentholatum Hyaluronic Acid Lip Gel - Again, special Minnie Mouse packaging... NT$109
Maybelline Baby Lips Electro Pop #Berry Bomb - I love my pink and orange one, so why not get the purple? The purple shade is brilliant, just as the other two I have, also smells nice and feels good on. I haven't seen this around in HK yet. NT$92
Integrate Mineral Watery Foundation N #OC10 - Saw this in a promotional set with a heart shape sponge and a case, remembered it has received many positive reviews in Japanese magazines under the drugstore foundation category, so I craved. Non-stop wearing this during our trip and can't stop when we're back. Good coverage, quite lasting, and not drying. Indeed a great budget option. NT$323
Gudetama lunch boxes - because I spent too much at 7-11
For Beloved One Hyaluronic Acid GHK-Cu Moisturizing Lotion - I was intrigued by the (blue) copper infused hence the purchase. NT$630 (originally 1050)
Dr. Wu Intensive Repairing Serum with Squalane - It is a very lovely textured oil serum, tried it on my hands and decided to get it together with the copper lotion as Watson's is doing buy 2 get 40% off certain skin care items. NT$600 (originally 1000)
Majolica Majorca Nude Make Gel NB #LB - Another new (?) release at the drugstore, read a lot about it from recent Taiwanese magazines so grabbed a tube anyway. NT$350
Sofina Primavista Ange Base (two different types) - Custom purchase for my friend. NT$350 each
Sofina Primavista Ange Long Keep Face Powder #Loose - Another frequently mentioned item in Taiwanese magazines, very reasonably priced. NT$324
UNT Sun Envy Gel Effect #NV030 - Because the normal nail lacquer line doesn't have any good colour in stock, so I opt for the new-er gel effect to see if it's any good. NT$248
Dr. Wu Hydrating Collection Set (Intensive Hydrating Serum with Hyaluronic Acid, Intensive Hydrating Toner with Hyaluroinc Acid, Extra Hydrating Lotion with Hyaluronic Acid, Ultimate Hydrating Mask with Hyaluronic Acid 2pcs) - I have used up an entire bottle of this lotion before and the serum has always been a cult favourite. Therefore I picked this over the repairing set.
LION Cooling Sheet for Legs - Because I can barely walk after the many days of hiking... NT$248
Mentholatum Vitamin Lip Gel - Minnie Mouse, again. NT$95
OMI Moiscube Lip (for dry lips) - According to my little brother, this is mint flavour - like~ NT$133
City Color BB Tint Snow Hydration - Magazine freebie
1028 Pressed Powder (mini size) - Too pale, lent to Honor to play. NT99 from Kuang Nan
Lovemore Pearl & Red Pearl Barley Whitening Mask Sheet - Saw this at Cosmed as buy one get one trial. Lovemore could be my all time favourite budget sheet mask brand from Taiwan. NT$69 for both
Keychains, stickers, masking tapes, etc...
and then we have our Empties - Travel edition...
